Who you are contracting with

CiteLaunch at https://www.citelaunch.com is operated by Abhishek Chavhan, an individual based in India ("we", "us"). By creating an account, buying a plan, or otherwise using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What CiteLaunch does

CiteLaunch helps makers get their product found and cited by AI answer engines. It has four parts:

• A free weekly launch board, where makers submit a product and collect upvotes and comments.
• A permanent public page for each published product and maker profile, built to be readable by search engines and AI answer engines.
• A done-for-you submission service: on a paid plan, we submit your product to third-party startup directories on your behalf and report back on each one.
• AI-assisted tools that analyse your listing and website and suggest improvements.

Your account

You sign in with Google or a secure email link. You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping access to it secure. You must be old enough to enter a binding agreement in your jurisdiction to use the site.

Content you submit

• You keep ownership of the product listings, profile information, images, and comments you submit.
• By publishing a listing you grant us a licence to host, display, and distribute that content publicly as part of the directory, including in search results and to AI answer engines that crawl the site.
• You confirm you have the right to submit what you post: a product you own or represent, and images you have the rights to use.
• We may remove content that's spam, misleading, illegal, or that violates these terms, without notice.

Submissions we make on your behalf

This is the part of the service where we act for you, so it's worth reading closely. When you buy a plan that includes directory submissions:

• You authorise us to submit your product information, including your name, email address, product description, links, and images, to third-party directory websites on your behalf, and to create accounts or listings there in your name where a directory requires it.
• The directory count in your plan is a ceiling, not a guarantee. We fill it with directories relevant to your category first and only pad with general ones once the on-topic list runs out. You can see that split before we submit.
• Directories are independent websites we don't control. We can't guarantee that any of them will accept your listing, how long they'll take, whether they'll keep it up, or that a link they publish will stay live.
• If a directory rejects your listing, that submission doesn't count against your plan's allowance, and we submit to another directory in its place.
• You're responsible for the accuracy of what you give us to submit, and for making sure your product doesn't breach the rules of the directories we submit it to.

AI features

Our tools use AI models to analyse your listing and website and to draft suggestions. AI output can be wrong, out of date, or misleading. Treat it as a draft to review, not as advice to publish unchecked. You're responsible for anything you publish based on it.

Acceptable use

Don't use CiteLaunch to post spam, malware, or deceptive listings; manipulate votes or rankings with fake accounts; scrape the site at volume; or attempt to disrupt the service.

Plans and payment

• Paid plans are one-time payments, not subscriptions. Nothing recurring is charged, and there is nothing to cancel.
• Prices are shown before you pay. Where a plan includes work that continues after purchase, that work carries an explicit time limit stated on the pricing page, so one payment never becomes an open-ended obligation.
• Payments are processed by Polar, which acts as merchant of record and handles applicable taxes. Their terms apply to the payment itself.
• All sales are final. See our refund policy for what that means and the narrow cases where we do refund.

Availability

CiteLaunch is a young product and parts of it are still in beta. We may change, pause, or remove features, and we don't promise uninterrupted availability.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Deleting your account doesn't retract listings already published on third-party directories. Those belong to the directories, and you'd need to contact them directly.

Disclaimer and liability

CiteLaunch is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that any listing will be cited or ranked by any AI answer engine or search engine, that it will bring you traffic, sign-ups, or revenue, or that any third-party directory will accept or keep it.

To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, India. Nothing here removes any right you have under consumer law that can't be waived by agreement.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
